Well like many others I to have an amp. board problem. I have had this Promedia Ultra 5.1 sound system for about five years now. My amp. board failed about three years ago. I sent it back for repair to Klipsch. It was repaired and returned and has been working great up until now. It appears it has failed again. I contacted Klipsch support for help only to be told they don't market or support this model anymore. Additionally they don't have any amp. board replacements or even replacement subwoofers for sale. I understand that there are two electronics repair shops out there, Sybesma's Electronics that wants the amp. board, metal plate and control unit for service repair for $150. plus shipping and then ther is Elliot-Tronics that I can't get a hold of. Can anyone out there, who's had experiance with either of these repair sources recommend which is the best direction to take based on quality of work, cost, upgrade capability and turnaround time, or where I can get a amp. board new or even referbished. Thanks for your help................JimboC

http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/p/137803/1397294.aspx#1397294 See this post. This guy was great to work with and tests your amp thoroughly then he upgrades the hell out of your components so you won't have failures in the future. He can even add a fan inside to improve heat issues. The pricing was extremely reasonable. He may be better pricewise then the others you've mentioned.
