RobsHP Posted September 19, 2010 Share Posted September 19, 2010 My Klipsch Promedia 4.1 has developed a hiss/crackling sound only from the left rear speaker. Doesn't matter if the volume knob is at max or min. I switched around the speakers and tried different cable but it's definitely isolated to the left rear output of the subwoofer. About 3 years ago, the surround sound control started making a really loud static noise when the knob is turned quickly. Any ideas on a cure?
