CDogX999
Anyone got an opinion on this sub...how would it compare with the RSW-10 or one of the cheaper powered SVS models? http://www.jbl.com/home/products/product_detail.asp?ProdId=S120PII&SerId=STU
kenratboy
Sorry I didn't respond sooner: That sub should be very nice. As a guess, the RSW-1? would be better. I have been a fan of JBL speakers, but not their consumer subs. However, I bet it could be had for under $500 online if you found the right place, and it would probably SLAUGHTER most anything else in that price range. If you have the $$$ for a RSW-10 or 12, get one of those. If you want to keep the $$$ down, get the JBL. They are both very good subs. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!
