KanonxKanon Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 Hello, all. I bought a pair of Klipsch Image S4 earphones on eBay on Wednesday and received them today. I was expecting to hear some really good quality stuff come out of them, what with all the praise they get online, and instead, all my music sounds really muffled. I looked at another thread on here about the logo fading, and now I'm almost 100% sure they are counterfeit. I looked at my logo, and after only like 10-15 minutes of handling them, they are almost completely rubbed off. What's more, apparently Klipsch discontinued the cleaning tool that was included with them before, and mine had it included. Anyone else have this issue? I mean, the sound quality on these was TERRIBLE. My brother's Target-bought $15 pair of Skullcandies sound crisper than these. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The best advice I can give right now is to always purchase from an authorized Klipsch dealer, although I know that doesn't help after the fact. If they do not sound good, they are either defective or fake, and if you didn't purchase from an auth. dealer, there is no manufacturer's warranty. I wish I had better news.
