flhx
Seller tested it before shipping and it worked fine. I hooked it up and I don't get any kind of light showing it has power. Should I get a light even without a ipod or other device plugged in? I tested power cord, I have 121 volts going into unit. btw; Visually the thing is in excellent shape and was sent in original undamaged box. Thanks in advance for your help, Tom

flhx
Thanks, Found the fuse blown. Their are 4 larger caps and 1 smaller 1 off to the side of them. This smaller 1 has some crud coming out the top of it. An issue??? I haven't tried a new fuse yet. Thanks again, Tom
flhx
Tried a 2A slow blow fuse, blows instantly when I turn on subwoofer rocker swt even without speakers or dock connected. Thanks, Tom
ifi123
yes, please replace all the 5 capacitors. you can use 4700uF 35V for all of them. choose a reputable brand like nichicon, rubycon, panasonic, etc. if it doesn't help, install a resistor before the fuse. I encounter same problem with my used iFi, the previous owner installed a resistor before the fuse. he cut one track leaving an open circuit, and use a resistor between it. it looks like this: http://www.thevintagesound.com/store/bmz_cache/6/6f183a1848a0caaf18502b97200648d9.image.250x187.jpg 5W 2.2ohm only.
