Should I purchase the PM 2.1s for around 80 or step up to pay for 5.1 for around 225(friend is throwing in extra monster cables too) Basically are the 5.1 really that much better? gnatnoop Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 i bought the 2.1's with my computer a couple of years ago. didn't see the need for 5.1 on the computer. but, some who watch movies or are big into gaming may want to go that direction. i can tell you that the 2.1's fill up a room..
