jnorv
I just got back from a week trip to Dublin, Ireland. (The draft Guinness was wonderful.) The price on a 28, Mitsubishi wide screen is $475 and for a 32, Philips widescreen is 720 (US$). Now I know that these are not HDTV or even compatible with US standards, but why the big difference in cost. They are 16:9 format. A 32 widescreen in Northern Ca is ~$2000 and if I want HDTV, it is another $1500. J Norvell
Seb
seems a bit high... here we have a 47" Panasonic HDTV monitor which retails for $3,188... CAN! that would translate to about $2,000 US! ------------------ http://members.fortunecity.com/sebdavid - go laugh at my crappy website/equipment http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mc.asp?alias=Sebdavid - go laugh at my puny little DVD collection This message has been edited by Seb on 05-09-2002 at 07:31 PM
