Klipsch iFi Speaker System for iPod

I received this system years ago as a gift. I moved about 3 years ago and only recently did I set the sytem up.

The system appears to be dead - no power. I'm sure it was plugged into a good wall plug. I've replaced the fuse and that hasn't worked.

Any suggestions? I live in an area with zero repair shops.

Thanks, Amanda

if the speakers are brand new im afraid some of the capacitors might be faulty. when you opened the amplifier and replace the fuse, can you check for leaking or bulging capacitors? the capacitors used in klipsch ifi are rifeking, a pretty cheap brand known for its bad quality.

also, if the fuses are fine, try to turn on the system in a silent environment. when you turn it on, there should be no sound, but when you pull / switch off the power plug there should be a faint noise of clicking. if the sound appears i believe your amplifier is working.
