iwander Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Is anyone familiar with this unit? I saw one in the local pawn store for $500. Looks interesting. Decent shape. No remotes. I have a Nakamichi SR-4A hooked up to my surround system for music only. Would the 1A-1Z sound as good as the SR-4A? My Marantz NR-1601 sound good for surround but doesn't compare to the SR-4A for sound quality. The Marantz does have the latest AV connections which the 1A-1Z doesn't.
