wizard8873
Hey guys, I don't frequent as often here as AVS but figure this is better as it's a specific Klipsch question. Currently, I have a very nice home theater system: 2 x RF-82 II (fronts) RC-62 II (center) 2 x RS-52 II (surrounds) 2 x RF-52 II (rears) 2 x RW-12D I'm very happy with this but have it all in one room and plan on moving soon. When I do, this will move into a living room and since I don't want roommates or friends snooping through my PC, it kind of leaves my bedroom a bit empty. I plan on either fixing my broken LCD TV or getting a new one but speakers are what really cause an issue. I was originally going to get a pair of Klipsch Icon WF-35's and just keep it stereo but found some great deals on full surrounds. For about $470, I can get the following: Klipsch F-2 for fronts Klipsch C-1 for center Klipsch S-2 for rears/surrounds I know the line is below the Reference line but mainly using this for listening to music, gaming, and the occasional movie/tv watching if the living room will be occupied. Still haven't listened to them but was wondering on your guys' thoughts on this. Seems like a great system for cheap. All of this will be powered by an Onkyo TX-SR608. Not planning on using a sub unless I really need to if so i'll grab one or just use one of the RW-12D's.
tmassey
Forte II's I suggest considering those as well. They would be pretty good for your bedroom. I think you would be much happier with them, especially if you don't really want to buy a new sub or take one out of your living (of course, it would sound much better with a sub). wizard8873
Trying to keep the size down and at least somewhat surround sound if possible.
