Mechanized
I need to harness the knowledge of this forum once again. I have been looking for a pair of La Scala's that are local to me and finally found a pair of LSI splits from Steve (firepwr). I inquired into which crossover they have and was advised they are specific to this paticular model. He also stated the woofers all have higher wattage capacity but the same sensativity. This makes me wonder how they will sound when compared to some regular La Scala's. I don't plan to use this commercially. In fact I was going to either integrate them into my HT or just set them up as a second zone two channel setup in my living room. Please advise me what I can expect going into this adventure. Guest " "
Two piecemetal trim LSI have either AA crossovers or AL crossovers. Woofers could be k-33 or k-43 stamped version. Regular LaScala's could have AA, AL, AL-3, AL-4 xovers. Woofers could be k-33 or k-43 stamped version. TLSI Lascalas have AL-3 xovers, Woofer is k-43 cast frame. So the two piece metal trim LSI could sound the same as some of the regular Lascala's .
Mechanized
These ones are solid black without any trim. The HF and Midrange horns are seperated from the low range cabinet.
