gold824
Sorry I am new at all this and not sure how to hook up my klipsch 12 inch down firing subwoofers (I have 2) my reciever is a yamaha rx-a3010. I have rca cables run to each sub then i split them with a "Y" spliter into both the "R" and "L" inputs on the sub......will this do any damage to the subs........it makes the subs louder when hook both rca cables in rather then just the one......thanks

You are fine. If you have a single RCA output for sub on the receiver, then using a y-adapter to each one, then another y-adapter into each invividual sub's left and right will work fine, and assure the entire signal gets there. Some subs like both the left and right hooked up, and some are fine with one. If you have an RCA input that says LFE, then you only need to plug into that port. That saves you from using extra y-adapters.
