DinoT
Hi all, I am a longtime Klipsch fan/customer. I have a complete Klipsch Reference series 7.1 set for my dedicated home theater. I am looking to piece together some speakers for 5.1 in my bedroom. Here is what I have: 2 - KSB-2.1 2 - KSB-1.1 1 - KSC-C1 I am not crazy about using the 1.1's as rears as I would prefere a dipole. I want to minimize the number of new speakers that I have to buy. I would like to use KSB-2.1's. What new speakers (Synergy line) would timbre match my speakers? Is the KSC-C1 the recommended center for the 2.1's? (I can't find the original specs) Can I get away with just putting up some SS-1's or SS-.5's? Thanks, Dino
xj220
I have just started my home theater(im 16). I have the Klipsch ksb 3.1 as my fronts and ksb 1.1 as my rears. I have no problem using them as surrounds, on the other hand I got 'em on ebay $69 shipped, what is wrong with using them as surrounds. -------------- Mains: Klipsch KSB 3.1 Center: Klipsch KSC-C1 Surround: Klipsch KSB 1.1 Subwoofers: SVS CS-Ultra w/SS woofer Receiver: Onkyo TX-DS
DinoT
These will be used in my bedroom. Most of my viewing will be pro-logic material (ie TV). I prefer dipoles for the rears when listening to pro-logic. Dino
Steve Phillips
Dino T, I use SS-1s in my bedroom HT, together with KSB 2.1 and a SC-1 center. The KSB was replaced by the Synergy SB and are a very nice match.
