Initial impressions vs the La scalas (living room): Not as deep and wide/huge sounding. Has better treble clarity. Smooth and crisp. Bass takes it over the La Scala. However La Scala has it beat in every other category. Initial impressions vs Forte 1 (master bedroom): Deeper and wider sound stage. Bass is a lot deeper and hits harder than the Forte's. Bright just like Forte's. That's it for now. There's a huge sound difference from my living room to my bedroom. Living room setup: Marantz sr6011 Emotiva XPA-5 2nd gen Nvidia Shield Bedroom: Marantz nr1403 Computer All files played were flac or .wav. That's it for now.
