two cables only one sound card jack, what to do

I just got a new motherboard (ASUS P4PE) and I want to use the built in sound codec that it has. It supposedly supports 5.1 surround but it only has one jack for the speakers to plug into, the other two are for the microphone and line in. I was wondering if there was adapter/splitter of some sort that I could buy to elevate this problem?

thanks in advance

You would need to get a Y adaptor to split the signal into the line out plug. These adaptors can be found at Radio Shack or any electronics store of that nature.

Thank you!
