BigRod
Okay, this is my first post on these forums so I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, let me know and I'll move the thread if need be. Here's the deal: I have the Promedia v.2-400s and a Sound Blaster Live! Value sound card. My rear channel speakers don't like to work for some reason. When connected to the front channel on the amp they work fine, so it's not the speakers or the wire, I think it's the connections on the amp. The only thing is that very low volume sound does come out of the left channel rear speaker, and all the sound that should be right channel also comes out of the left channel. For example, when I run the test in Creative Surround Mixer, Front Left and Front Right work just peachy, but rear left comes out very quiet from the left channel and rear right also comes out very quiet from the LEFT channel. Please help me if you can.

Moderators Amy Posted April 24, 2001 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2001 When you plug the purple cable into the green jack of the sound card, do the "rear" speakers sound normal? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
