Power On

I think that depends on how long the components will be off. If I'm going to turn them back on in a half hour then I leave them on, but If I'm going to work or to bed I turn everything off. I would think the time to rest and cool down would be better than the small stress from the powering up and a down. I think that theory came from older components like the old TV's that would blow tubes, but with the modern components it's a much more gentle procedure.
