KSW 10 Crossover

I am stupid I know but here goes/KSW 10 connected with monster Y to sub out on Sony DE 945/ Fronts SB 2/rest are Quintets/all set to small/Is crossover stronger/louder at 120 or 40,Question is higher louder or lower louder Thanks Joe

joe, hopefully the Y connection is at the ksw (not your

sony). unlike my de935, i've heard your 945 has adjustable front/sub cut off points.

i'd turn your ksw cross all the way to 120hz & try setting the sony @ like 60 then 90 (from what i remember your choices are). do what sounds best(or loudest if u prefer) on a bassy cd music track or 2.

point is, you're probably looking for the best blend between your ksw & other spaeaks to your ears, so experiment w/ your settings to see what sounds best to you.

keep in mind loud bass can also be distorted bass, i.e., it's the overall best sound for u that u probably

want.
