Ancient
I have a KA266-R motherboard and am using on board sound. I have no sound coming from my rear speakers. I am fairly new to computers and brand new to these speakers. I am hoping someone can tell me how to set this up. thank you Ancient
Moderators Amy Posted May 16, 2001 Moderators Share Posted May 16, 2001 Is the soundcard 4-channel? When you plug the rear channels (the purple plug) into the line out, so you get sound from the rear speakers? ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com
Ancient
It is built in sound (on the mother board)and the quailty really shocked me. I could not get sound blaster to work with the Ali Magic chipset in win 2000, it does fine in 98 but not 2000. Now that I have it worked out, it sounds just as good as the SB did. I now have surround sound, the mid range is a little less but overall real good. I think a lot has to do with the speakers though. thank you Ancient
