m115919h Posted December 21, 2003 Share Posted December 21, 2003 I know this isn't really the correct forum for this question but it seems like these speakers are talked about more than in the other forums. Anyway my question(s) is I want to get my foot in the door in terms of building speakers and I thought the SB-1 bookshelf speaker would be a good starter speaker. Before I begin there is a few things I need to know. I know the external dimensions but I don't know what the thickness of the MDF is, I am guessing it is 1/2". Also what is the diameter and length of the port, I asume it is plastic. Hopefully I can find a port tube with the same dimensions somewhere.
