whadyasay Posted February 7, 2004 Share Posted February 7, 2004 I have not personally tried the receiver, but it looks as if it would make a very viable platform as a pre/pro to be hooked up to an external 5/7-channel amp. It has all the pre-outs, multi-in, 6/7.1 processing and such, and it's small, light, and stays cool. I've seen these going for $500 + change from various places. I might be looking to give it a try as just this. My only quibble is that I don't like the silver wave pattern on the front, like with HK's other new AVR's.
