Subwoofer lost some power

Yo all,

While doing tunes at a level Pro Media's are made for, my sub suddenly lost more than half of it's punch. Sat's work fine but the bass is half dead. As far as I can tell, both drivers in the sub are still working, just not as they should. Anybody got any clues? Hate to be without while they are in the shop.8.gif

Hey man! I have the SAME problem, do this... while you're playing music with good bass unplug your speakers/sub from the outlet, now wait 5 seconds put it back in the bass should return to normal for about 5-10 seconds then it will go weak again. I've came to the following conclusions. 1.) It has a leaky capacitor(s) 2.) Bad amp 3.) Cause by a brown-out Good luck to you mate. If you find a solution let me know. 15.gif

Hey! I followed your suggestion but unfortunately there was no change, even for a moment. There is still some bass, but certainly not the ball-buzzin' like before. Still under warranty though so I guess I am forced to send the sub back and see what is the deal. May have just vibrated a wire loose on the amp? Who knows. Thanks for the assist though. Will post when I get some answers.
