dgfla
I have a set of Promedia 4.1 I have had them for about 3 years and they have been great. Today they are not working. The control pod speaker is not lit. If I depress the button it glows red. I have a sound blaster live card. I went to the store and bought a new sound blaster Audigy LS card and they still don't work. I checked to make sure none of the audio settings were set to mute. I assume the power is ok because the back of the sub is warm and I am getting the red led.I even tried installing the original card in another pci slot.Still no good. What drives the red/green led on the pod,? Is this from the sub or the sound card. Anyway I really don't have a clue and i am hoping someone out here will be kind enough to help me . thanks, P.S> I connected my headphones to one of the jacks on the pod, and it works, guess i should of though about that befor I bought another sound card.... Anyway 7 views and no replies yet...Still hopefull for someone kind enough to help a Klipsch customer.... dg NEVER MIND: ALL BETTER NOW!...WHEN OUT OF IDEAS UNPLUG THE B*TCH, AND WHOOLA, ALL SYSTEMS GO...INTERSESTING... AFX2005
Hi, Judging from your description, seems like the control pod is having problems, esp. the speaker engage portion, seems to be damaged. As you mentioned it turns red only but doesnt lit up to green. Have you checked with Klipsch regarding this issue? Most prob need to send in for repairs.
