toomanyspeakers
Using my home theater reciver my new Lascalas sound pretty good in the two channel mode. I am wondering if there would be an advantage to using the preamp out puts on the reviver to power a seperate power amp, day an adcom or other good but middle of the road power amp? thanks dan
dougdrake
Depends on your receiver, and the quality of its pre-amp and amp. What are you using now? You might get a better overall bang for the 2-channel buck by getting a tube integrated amp, and feeding your audio-only sources through it to your LAS. You could use a source switch to switch the LAS between the HT receiver and the tube integrated. That's what I am doing, and I like it a lot. toomanyspeakers
I am using a yamaha RXV 3000. The sound is very clean but a little zingy sometimes. I was just thinking of a seperate amp just for the Lascalas.dan
