ZoSo Posted July 15, 2001 Author Share Posted July 15, 2001 The wire with the red stripe on it = tip of plug. The wire with no stripe = the other part of plug. Using an ohm meter is the easiest way to find out. The talcum powder test is usually performed after you make the wire.
