genxian316 Posted July 16, 2001 Share Posted July 16, 2001 Hello everyone, let me give you some background. I have no soundcard b/c I was using usb speakers previously. I own the Creative Labs 12x DVD w/ DXR3. The DXR3 as I understand it is basically a Hollywood Real Magic hardware dvd decoder. I will be purchasing the PM 5.1's prolly the AT, and a sound card. But I need to know, how will all this work for watching DVD's. Will I need the AT for true Dolby Digital. And will I be able to use the Creative Labs DVD software for this 5.1 setup since I think I need to use in order for the DXR3 to work. Please shed some light on my problem. Thanks everyone.
