HendrixFan
I now have the Audiophile 2496 card, and it sounds much nicer than the SBLive! I had. However, in Win2K, the drivers only allow 16 bit input and output. I am unable to do any audio transfers until I get the 24 bit support. Since the card runs off of generic WDM drivers in Win2k, could I just patch in a generic 24 bit sound driver? Does anyone have any way of helping me? CDogX999
Have you emailed Midiman/Maudio tech support yet...they are very helpful...they have responded to all of my questions within 24hrs. I have a Audiophile 24/96 also that I use in win2k but I don't do any recording.
HendrixFan
I havent emailed them, no. I guess the worst they can say is "sorry", and at best they would give me some unsupported beta drivers. Thanks for your help.
