Gametester
I'm looking to round out my 7.1 setup by replacing my RC3 (center back) with 2 RS-3/RS3II. My question is, I'm starting to mix and match it seems, Mains: RF3 Center: RC3II (Second center purchased) Side Surrounds: RS3 Center Back: RC3 (first center purchased) I didn't notice much of a difference when I added the RC3II to the front sound stage, but I'm concerned I may be 'breaking' the sound fields with mixing of the two types. In addition, ideally the surrounds are all the same speaker type, but would adding another RC3 to the rear be that much worse than adding two RS3/IIs back there? Or even another set of RF3s? Also, with the the new naming of the reference series (new additions) are the RF25s or 35s closer to the 'old' RF/RFII series?
