eXpression Posted October 10, 2004 Share Posted October 10, 2004 Hello, Well i got a Promedia 2.1, 230V version. Anyways heres the scenario: The 2.1 has 2 channels right, that being the left and the right. So at the back there are 4 seprate connections at the back of subwoofer with a negative and positive for each channel. Yeh anyways what i did was got 2 more speakers i fink they are rated at 130W, and plug it into the same connectors. So its like 2 speakers on the left channel and 2 speakers on the right channel. This was because i wanted to test it and see if it provided better sound. Hehehehe. Infact it did, theres like this extra dynamic depth.Anyways, it worked fine so i left it like that, and used it normally as i did before. Then one day, theres this short crackling noise, and suddenly 1 of the channels were gone. Now i only get sound from one of the speakers. I know what i've done is quite stupid, but yeh. LOL I tested the satellite speakers, they still work fine, subwoofer still work superbly. Just only getting sound from one channel. Anyone know what could of happened, and how i could fix it?
