I have talked of my latest HT project at length but I thought I would share one of my other setups. In another of my "sound" rooms I have a setup that I quite enjoy for movies and music. For my Video side I have my first bigger screen TV, a 35" Mitsu Diamond tube before they stopped making them (circa 1997) and a Panasonic DVD player. For the Audio portion I have an Onkyo TX 494 receiver, the front three speakers are the NHT VS 1.2's in white lacquer (circa 1998). For the rears I have a pair of Klipsch Quintets also in white and a AR powered 10" sub. I know that this system is somewhat pieced together with different brands of speakers but if anyone has spent time with NHT's it is really an enjoyable experience. My first choice has always been Klipsch but I really think these speakers are my second choice as the clarity and crispness are very impressive.

Hey, nothing wrong with that!

I plan once I graduate from college and start making some real money, the gear I buy now will end up going into a bedroom/second system as I buy big-buck hi-end gear to replace the system I have now.

Come on, if you HAVE the stuff, might as well use it!

I build computers from spare parts. Nothing like having a 900 MHz. AMD Athlon system with all the fixings to use as a backup, server, 'test' system, etc.
