Hofy Posted August 8, 2000 Share Posted August 8, 2000 OK here is the scoop. A friend of mine bought a new Creative CDRW Blaster 8432 model 4214. I installed it for him and everything was going great. They even included Nero 5 (although it is tweeked for Creative). However when we installed Music Match 5 it doesnt see the burner. Same with Adaptec EZCD Creator. No CD Writer installed. WTF? Is this drive so tweeked it locks out all other burning software? Wingnuts Posted August 8, 2000 Share Posted August 8, 2000 Well run regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adaptec\Easy CD Engine\1.0\Devices see if the device is located there Adaptec EZCD creator only reconizes the device if it is listed within thouse key fields.
