oldbuckster
Anyone looking for an inexpensive receiver. I have a Sony str D 1011 in silver 4 sale. 120 watts rms per channel X 2, it will do dolby surround sound also. I am the only owner and it is brand new quality, and has never been hurt. I have used KG-4s with it and they sound great. I am in Albany N.Y. area and would travel a couple hours to deliver it instead of shipping. I think it is worth $125.00. It just sits here in it's box wanting to be put back in service. The 120 watts does rock real well. NOT JUNK, original box, and manual. What are you waiting for, go for it. NEWGUYS you got to start somewhere, Sony today, KLIPSCH speakers tomorrow
Bill H.
Oldbuck, Thanks for offering it here first. You might try Audiogon for some more exposure . Good Luck. Isn't that Model from 1993?
oldbuckster
I do not want to use E-bay or audiogon because you get a lot of he scammer's on there. It would be nice for someone just starting out get this. It is a good deal for the money. If I sell it great, if I don't it sits in the box untill I need it. I just think that someone might be interested in a nice receiver for a nice price on the Klipsch forum.
oldbuckster
I bought it new in 94, replaced a Kenwood intergrated amp. Always liked the 120 watt per channel, but wanted a 5.1 reciever, so I retired the unit. The new sony is nice but doesn't sound as powerful as old unit did at the same volume setting.
