I do have an "event coordinator" that's called me I think three times to see when we wanted to do a booking, she's from the Marriot (?) on 394 and 100 in Golden Valley, in fact she called yesterday and said she was flexible on rates, really seemed to want the business. What say the people that are interested give an ideal date and I'll see what can be put together once we have a consensus on scheduling? I realize not everyones' wishes can be met, but if know what people want we at least have a starting point. What the hey, I may even try and start a poll, if I can figure out how the heck that's done!?!?!? If you don't see a poll for MPLS Meeting or something similar, just post your preferance here. Champagne taste beer budget Posted January 15, 2007 Author Share Posted January 15, 2007 OK, here's a new way to work this idea: Originally, there were these people interested in a get together: Wuzzer, Schurkey, DoubleJ, Hammertop, Cut-Throat and Klewless. DrWho thought it's be cool to do, but surely a long drive. I've had a poll on the pegboard of Two Channel, and have only heard from Wuzzer, Dexter, (new), and Brian Berube (new). Really, if there's not enough interest in the idea of a get together, for a major metropolitin area such as the Twin Cities and the surrounding area, I'm apparently disallusioned in how much interest there is in the search for good sound in the upper midwest. Maybe we've been BOSE'd to death. [6] I am only trying to stir interest, I have no problem with BOSE, for what they are. Not what I'd want.
