Groto
Is there anyway to get these in any color other then white? Or is there a special paint I could use to paint it black? I am not sure what to do here. I would find is surprising if these could only be found in white. Thanks.
michael hurd
You should be able to use Krylon Fusion black for both the frame and also the grille. Clean the plastic with soap and water ( rag works ), then scuff lightly with a grey scotchbrite pad ( sold at paint supply houses for autobody use ) reclean with hot soapy water on a rag, and remove / tape off the horn and woofer. Apply a few light coats of paint and you should be good to go. Shoot the grille black at the same time, a light scuff should do. Wipe grille with alcohol soaked rag, to remove any oils before applying the paint.
colterphoto1
Mr. Paint saves the day. Good directions there Mike, mind if I save them in our Customer Service files as 'THE' authoritative method for prepping grills for paint? M
