kentamcolin
I'm trying alnico tweeters and mids in my Cornwalls. I have Crites crossovers, are the crossover points the same or do I need to change something in the crossover?

ZAKO
The voicecoil does,nt know the difference between alnico or ceramic, it only passes through flux gap...All this has nothing to do with xover.
kentamcolin
Thanks! Good advice about over analyzing. It can be easy to lose focus on the music. I didn't realize that it's basically just the magnet that is different. I tried alnico tweeters and love them, and hope to soon try the alnico midrange. ZAKO
Alnico Is too easy to demagnitise (heat or bumping) But no real or imagenitive audible difference... those who think so are dilusional.... You dont get any sound from the magnet only the moving voicecoil-diaphram, Passing through flux gap.
