How do we feel about the Jamo's?

I have a buddy who has been after me to sell my KEF Reference 2's, ever since he found out I was selling my Cornwalls. I may take him up on that, and have been looking at the E-855's and the C-405's as replacements. I have a Rotel RB-981 and a Crown MicroTech 600 for power, so I tend to get a bit loud.....

Unless room is at a minimum, as I said before, keep the CW's. I have the Jamo E680 and the E8CEN.2 and I love them, BUT compared to the CW you will think your loosing your hearing. They are a laid back speaker, whereas the CW is more In your face and has a Much larger Soundstage.

Bottom line- I fully understand IF you have to sell, but you'll loose the Soundstage and Volume that CW's provide. I love my Jamo's but they aren't anything soundstage or volume wise like your CW's..............Good Luck.

I dunno if the Jamo's would ever be good for cranking it....with 200W you're talking only 110dB output at one meter.

If your lacking for space, I'd suggest Fortes. They will give you the Punch of a CW without the large footprint..............JMHO.
