gangan_2000
Hi, I recently purchased two new Klipsch F-3 (for front right & left floor speakers) and one C-3 (for Center). I am wondering which A/V receiver would be the good one for this speaker setup. I've no surround speakers now (not in the newar future). My primary purpose is audio only (no video). For video, I directly connected my HDMI OUT to TV IN (for my HD-DVR & upconvert DVD player). And plan to connect the optical out from DVD player & HD-DVR to optical IN to the receiver. I found the following used receivers that I am interested in my area: Denon AVR 3600 - $375 Pioneer Elite VSX-36TX THX Ultra Surround Receiver 7.1 - $300 Any suggestion please? Thanks in advance. Bill H.
I have the HK AVR 240 now the AVR 247. You can purchased refurb units from HK for less, BUT they are currently selling new for about 350.00. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000N81BPC/ref=pd_cp_e__map#
Steve_L
I have an F-3 system and am really pleased with the way my Pioneer VSX-1015 pushes them. They are up to the VSX-1017 at this point, and it is a consumer version of the higher end Elite, without dual room capability and a couple of other minor features. MCACC room balancing system works great and will come in very handy come time to go full 5.1 Lots of POWER
