brycerocket
Hi Everyone, I'm looking at buying a new sound system for my computer and ipod (but mostly for my computer). Right now, I have a Cambridge Soundworks Microworks II system, which I find to be a little weak bass wise and too light sounding. I have an Cinema 8 + RW-10D sub system for my home theater and really like it's sound. My question is, how well do the iFi's work as computer speakers compared to the promedia 2.1s? I'm a programmer so I spend a significant time at my desk listening to music. I don't play many computer games or watch that many movies on my computer (that's what the other Klipsch system is for ). Ideally I'd like to get a system that comes close or surpasses a good pair of headphones (such as Shure's E3C's). Thanks! (also, are there new ifi dock adapters for ipods like the iPod touch?) -Brycerocket
Jay481985
The ifi works great as a computer system.... the only thing, put the volume output from the computer to 60% due to the nature of the ipod and the low gain, they had to set the ifi gain high but its to high for computer cards so you may hear crackle.
