RamoIjjah
Hi All, I'm a reader but new to posting, please forgive if I posted in the wrong area I have a Cinepro 3k6 SE which can supply 400 watts x 6ch at 8ohms or ~800W x 3ch @ 8 ohms. I also have a Rotel 1090 amp which can supply 380W x 2ch @8ohms. Whilebumpin Blue Man Group "Audio" DVD-A, I've noticed that my RF-83's willoccasionally ignite the red clipping lights on the Cinepro if it'ssupplying just the unbridged 400 watts. No problems with the full 800bridged setup. Two questions: I recently got my hands on apair of RF-7s as well, and have to decide which goes to the Cinepro andwhich goes to the Rotel. What's the best way to wire these suckersin? Which set of speakers would benefit from the extra kick supplied by theCinepro most? Also, can my RC-64 handle the 800W channel, or should I leave it on a 400W channel? Thanks!!!
