mils
Recently I want to replace my RC-62 with RC-64, but I don't know if the RC-64 is better than RC-62 in high frequency???The frequency reponse of RC-64 is 62Hz-21kHz and the frequency response of RC-62 is 57Hz-23kHz.Dynamic and power are not my most concern in this case,I want to hear more details, better real feelings. My main is RF-62 and my surround is RS-25.Thanks. Jay481985
stick with the rc62. The rc64 was made to match with the rf83 and rf63 Also average human hearing is 20-20000 but the later tappers off when you are older so its more like 20-14000 by the age of
mils
Thanks for your opinion. Is it necessary to change my surround from RS-25 to RS-52 ???Thanks.
Jay481985
surrounds are less vital than centers. The thing is, do you have any complaints with the surrounds? They are really only usefull in 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound movies.
mils
Beacuse RS-25 is a little harsh and I don't know why ,maybe it is because of the surround cables??? Is the high frequency of RS-52 more smooth than RS-25???Thanks for you opinion.
Jay481985
surround cables as long as they are proper gauge sound pretty much the same.... but some say it sounds different. The rs52 should be better as it seems you might be maxing the volume to keep up with the rest of the system
