jbd
Okay, so I haven't moved yet and therefore I have not started the work in my new house yet, but I am planning ahead (as I tell my wife). My family room system will be an Onkyo 705, RF-52, RC-52, Quintet III sides and rears, and a Sub 10. (room 26x13) I think I am going to get a pair of HS-1 outdoor speakers that I just found for the blowout price of $100. So here is where the fun comes in! I was at a buddies house last night, and he showed me how his system is wired for several different rooms. I got to thinking about doing this, but did not want to spend a ton of money. I know Klipsch makes several in wall speakers, and I wanted something small to play music in the following rooms: Play room (15x13) Dining room (15x13) Kitchen (23x13) I don't think I need something large to blast out tunes, and I saw the smaller KHW-5 on sale at Vanns for $100. QUESTIONS: 1) Is this a good in wall speaker to play some background music in the aforementioned rooms? 2) Is it silly to buy these in advance, without having yet consulted my A/V guy who will be helping with the install? I want to take advantage of a great deal, and this seems like one! Any advice will help!
jbd
These in wall speakers will not be for my main H/T system. They'll be used for a little background music in a few rooms. Anyone?
jbd
Just trying to generate some responses! Can anyone provide some input on in-wall speakers? Thanks.
