Stranger Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 I 've got a small room, about 3m * 5m, in this room I placed four RB 81 loudspeakers - 2 as fronts and 2 as rears, they powered by marants SR7002. Now i'm looking for a subwoofer to complete my system. I guess klipsch is better playing with klipsch so I look on rw10d or rw12d and can not decide what is better for me, the worst thing is that I can't find a shop to listen to them... From the one hand 10d has enough power for my room (well I hope so) and costs suitable price, on the other hand 12d handles lower frequency (24 hz) versus 10d which can play only 28 Hz....So if anybody had a chance to listen to both subs I would gladly appriciate your opinions on this matter))))) My preferences are music and games (system is connected to PC) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

TNRabbit Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Either would be fine for that size room. The 12 wouldn't have to work as hard, but the 10 would do. Is cost an issue?
