MichaelShaffer
Just wondering, I used to have some Promedia 5.1s but the amp had to be replaced twice. I would really like to have some Klipsch speakers again because I loved the sound, but I am afraid the amp would die. Are the 2.1s reliable? HarryO
The 2.1 are great sounding speakers. I liked them so much I bought 3 pairs in less than 2 years even when they kept breaking down. No problems though. Klipsch was kind enough to send me to Radio Shack to get the DIN plug from a Playstation since they couldn't seem to get the new cables, volume controls, or any other part from China. I'd recommend buying them even though I was forced to use my old BA I've had for 10 years with no problems. Too bad they don't sound anywhere close to the Klipsch. I just gave in and listen to my old Heritage U.S.A. made speakers that are 30 years old. Yep, I ain't over this one yet. Harry
Guest srobak
I've had 2 pair of 2.'s for over 5 years, purchased another 2 pair as gifts for family over 3 years ago, and a year ago also bought a Star Wars pair... absolutely love them. Keep the back of the sub off the wall to the plug doesn't get banged, and you will be fine.
