TyWelcome
Klipsch sent me an email. This is possible and the best way to do this (as they told me) is to use the line in on the back of the sub/amp box and not the one in the back of the controller where the ipod sits. coo... I wonder why this is? When you do that aren't you just mixing the signal with that of the dock anyway? I could see if you were using an ipod in the dock as your primary source of music and just wanted to be able to hear the computer's system sounds, but if you are going to use your computer as the source of music, it seems like plugging into the dock would be the way to go. Jay481985
if you plug it into the dock, you will mute the ipod dock. If you put it in aux you will not mute the ipod dock.
pw38
Well for those like me who use the ifi solely as a computer speaker without regard for the dock plugging into the dock is a perfectly acceptable alternative. Plus it makes my cable run shorter.
