mdegraw
Can anyone tell me if this combination will sound good. The receiver is pristine and I am looking to buy some Heresy's to re-do,
jheis
Should sound just fine. I'm running a SM-4305 amp that I bought in 1980 in my office system. Optonica (Sharp) made some pretty nice stuff. James
mdegraw
Thanks for the reply James. This receiver has 85 watts per channel and I can hook up three sets of speakers to it. I don't know much about all of this just trying to get into it a little bit and a friend turned me on to the Klipsch Heritage products. I think I want to rebuild a set of Heresys when I can afford it. I have alot of experience with the woodworking part but none with the stereo equipment. I looked up the receiver and found that it was a high-end effort of Sharp's to compete with the Marantz, Kenwood and Sansui at the time. I haven't used it in 20+ years and I'm a little excited to fire it up again but will have to wait for the $$. Model # is SA-5601. Thanks again for the input and if you know of a set of Heresys needing TLC, let me know. Mike
