  1. I modified my original post to more accurately describe the problem.
  2. I have an SWS add-on sub hooked up to my Promedia 5.1 system. The mini-jack male connector pin that connects the SWS control module to the female control module port on the rear of the SWS sub produces loud noises through my speakers if the male connector pin moves or is physically touched in any way, however so slight. Could the female mini-jack control module port be defective? If so, can just this port be replaced? It seems to me that a tighter connection is required to eliminate the noise. What are your thoughts?
  3. I am running 1 SWS with my Promedia 5.1 system. It seems there is not a good connection where the male end of the control module cable plugs into the control module female port on the SWS. If the cable or male plug end moves slightly for any reason with the SWS powered on, a loud low frequency rumble occurs. Does this seem like a bad female port? If so, can this port be replaced through disassembly. The system works fine except for this malady. What are your thoughts? Thank you. []
