The grills just need to be covered. Not sure what to go for yet. Raw linen, antique white or grey. Does anyone have any good sources or ideas for grill cloth? These puppies are super heavy. Probably somewhere around or a little over 200 pounds. -

I have only added foam damping to the tops sides in the top section and two thirds of the back panel for now. I’ll see how they sound and add more or remove some if needed. I have some black washers coming for the rear panel bolts. -

Righto. I’ve been busy. Here are some progress pics as promised. Some details first. Front baffle 1 3/4 inch thick. Birch ply with Mdf face. Laminated instead of paint. tops, bottoms and sides 1 inch birch. Aussie walnut veneer. Tinted with raw oil stain then finished in low sheen hardwax oil. (Whittles evolution). Back panel is 1 1/2 inch thick birch ply and Mdf with aluminium edges and laminate as the front baffle. I will be keeping the Alk xovers outside the cabs. Need to make a box for these. They are AP12-600 and ES5800 jobbies. I just need to terminate my dueland wire and make connections to the system. fingers crossed.
