JHawk, thanks for the heads up on the KV-3 in Audioreview's classifieds. I contacted the guy and we made a deal. Now all I need is the 2 rears. I've been looking everyday for KG-1's and such. No luck yet but I'll keep looking. Thanks again for all the input everyone.

I'm in full Ebay hound dog mode looking for a KV-3 or a KG-4 in a pair or by it's lonesome. If anyone has a KV-3 that would like to sell, please post here. Here's the next logical question: what should I get for my back pair? Let me guess - KG-4's? What if I want something small for the back pair? What would match? Thanks

I think I see what you're saying - re-work the board in the KG4 that the speakers mount to (I assume thats called the motor board) so that the horn is in the middle. (in between the 2 drivers) There is a guy selling a pair of KG4's that he says sound aweful at low volume. Sounds better when cranked up. Is it expensive to repair a pair of KG4's?

Wow that would be cool to find a lone KG4. If you're talking about building a whole new box for it, would you still use the big woofer in the back? (I'm totally new to this idea of speaker construction) I am fimiliar with working with MDF - I assume that's what you would use to build a new cabinet. I'm surfing Ebay now looking for a KV-3. I'll do a search for KG4's while I'm at it. Thanks

Will this match up well with my KG4's? Also, while Im at it, how do you guys give yourselves custom avitars?
