  1. Hello, I'm building a Home Entertainment wall unit, and am trying to figure out the size/dimensions for my audio/video equipment. I have a pair of Chorus II speakers that I'm trying to decide if I should keep as I build this theatre system. Does anyone have any opinions/knowledge of how well these speakers would integrate with a surround sound system? Are they too overpowering to even try using? I'm wondering if it would make more sense to buy one of the new Klipsch systems, than to piecemeal something together. Thanks! Mark
  2. An interesting twist to this story.... I was able to get the horns to work (on both speakers). Each horn has +/- connections on two sides (I'm not sure why). One of the things that I tried to do, was hook the wires to the other side of the horn ... that didn't help. My 7 year old daughter then suggested that I connect the positive wire on the terminal from one side, and the negative wire on the other terminal. Surprise! It worked! I did this on both speakers, and the horns worked on both. Just to make sure the fix really was as it seemed, I tried once again to connect the wires as they were originally and neither horn worked. Unfortunately, the tweeter does not have the two separate terminal on it, so, there was no "quick fix" that I could do for them. Does any of this make sense to anyone? Any other ideas of things that I might try? Thanks! Mark
  3. Hello, I hooked up my Chorus II speakers after a recent move. The top horn and tweeter did not work on one of the speakers (but did on the other speaker). I unscrewed the bad horn to check the wiring, and it all looked okay. I then hooked the horn wiring to the woofer, and the woofer still worked (so, I reasoned it was not a wiring issue). I then unscrewed the horn on my other speaker (the good one) and swaped the good horn with the bad. The bad horn did not work where the good one did. I then put everything back to normal, and now neither horn/tweeter work on BOTH speakers! Perhaps I'm being naive, but, I didn't thing that the horn could really "break". What could be wrong? Any suggestions on things that I can try myself without taking both speakers to a repair center? Thanks! Mark
