Yeah, I only have a 27" wega. Thats actually the reason why I got this one instead RC-7, the 7 is HUGE.

Higher end audio stores will have them in some of their rooms. I don't know any manufacturers to give you an idea of what it will run. Its not really a feature I'm interested in as I'll eventually be using the last 2 speaker connections as part of a 7.1 system.

The 325 has it as well. As far as I can tell from the manual, a-bus is basically a standard whereby you can control the "B" set of speakers via a keypad. You'd have to go buy a special keypad and connect it up.

I'm starting a new thread for metro Milwaukee people who'd like to get together, listen to systems, etc.

I like it. It can stand up to the RF-5s, can handle whatever bass gets sent to it. It has the screws for calibrating angle which is nice. All my speakers are sighted in with a laser. So far the Playstation 2 makes it sound its best (no, really) You're welcome to come give it a listen.

I don't know, but keep in mind that they'll probably tell you one thing to get you excited and then give you a different number when its time to actually do the deal. easylistener: do they do just speakers or recievers too? I'm already dreaming of trading my spanking new HK up for an Aragon Stage One and an amp.

I didn't know they take trade, that is nice. Yeah, I have the guy's business card, he tried to tell me that the RF-35 and RF-7 were going to be the two biggest floorstanding models. I know which room you're talking about with the Aragon stuff. I wish I could afford to upgrade to separates!

Ah, I've been there many times. They've given me innaccurate information about stuff in the past though. For example, they don't carry RF-5s anymore because they are discontinued according to them.

The main reason I was asking was that HK markets themselves as high current amps, for exampe the 325 I have is only rated at 50 wpc but certainly seems more "Powerful" than that. The mental picture I have is that its sort of like torque versus horsepower on a car I'll dig up my physics books and do some research this weekend. To be continued!

I live in Milwaukee, I'm just curious who it is? Honestly, its probably cheap beacause the "RX-3 II" line is being replaced by the RX-35 line.

I believe the RS-35 will be very similar, perhaps even slightly larger than the RS-3 II. A look at the Products section of this web page will show you all the dimensions of the various models.

Can someone explain to me the basics of a high power (watts) amp versus a high voltage (volts) amp, and the relationship of Ohms to these things in the audio world ? Its been a loooooooooong time since my physics classes so looking up Ohm's law (V=IR and the various derivations) didn't really help me here. This might be too technical but someone here has to have a general answer. (If anyone has a link that might be best?)

I have heard the RC-25, it is easily "overpowered" at high volumes in my opinion. I got the RC-35 instead, worlds of difference.

Yup, sorry, was jealous of his stuff. Had you two guys mixed up. BTW, I also have the e740 with WiFi. I'm a programmer and I've been doing business apps on them. I never thought of using it for something cool like TS to a media machine.

I'll have to get a stud sensor, and I have heard of some special nails that are very thin that go into plaster withour wrecking it. Thanks for the opinions!
